My daughter had her First Birthday here and it was awesome!!. The kids had a lot of fun, thanks to Maria, (from the club) she gave me a lot of ideas and suggestions for a perfect party. She let me borrow her jumping thingy (I forgot what it's called) for the kids and she gave me a list of the vendors that I can use for a reasonable price!. So you got a place and party planner in one! She even baked cookies for the kids,(with "shots" of milk-what a brilliant idea!) . She made sure everything is ready before the party, the linens, etc.and we get to use their utensils, and other stuff that we can use for the party. Her husband Thom, did a great job setting up the tables and chairs. I forgot to get some rectangular linens and Maria went out of her way to buy tablecloths. The place is really nice, and they were around all day in case we need anything. Thom documented the party really well (they have a lot of nice pictures) and they sent me a cd of it and posted it online. I don't regret getting the place, my daughter's gonna be 1 only once, and I'm very happy picking this place. We might be back soon! (they hold recitals too.:))
We're very happy and grateful to Maria and Thom for making our party unforgettable, and unique. I got a lot of compliments about the place and the party. So if you're looking for a small affordable, beautiful place for any ocasions/events, I would highly recommend this place. I never write reviews, but I know this one is worth it!

I hosted my wifes surprise 40th Birthday Party for about 100 people. I am pretty organized, but met my match when I started working with Maria from the Club. She had albums of previous events, ideas, and functions that took place at the WCE. She also gave me a great tour of the facility and painted a picture of what the night could be. Throughout the entire process, Maria was acessible, helpful, and put my mind at ease. As the final week approached, I spent a great deal of time getting things ready for the big night - supplies, drinks, balloons, decorations, etc. Maria was tremendous in helping to coordinate the event with my caterer, dj, etc. Even down to the last day, Maria and her husband Tom were able to switch our room set-up around to accomodate our final numbers. The night of the event, she was visible, but not intrusive, her husband Tom also did some photography work, which came out great, and even sent us a disk of the photos as a keepsake. When we ran low on a particular beverage the night of the party, Maria even ran out and picked the item up at the local store. She was willing to go the extra yard in every step of the way, and I was eternally grateful. In closing, my wife was totally surprised, the night went off without a hitch, and I would highly reccomend The Womans Club of Englewood to anyone looking. It is a unique venue for a reasonable price. You can't go wrong!!

Perfect venue for an intimate event at an affordable price! If you're looking for an event space to make a memorable party this is the perfect place for you. One of the things I love about this place is the fact that it is like a blank canvas and you can transform this place according to your taste. The place comes with neutral decor but with some imagination and tasteful decorations, it becomes magical! Also, Maria, the club manager, is a great resource for party ideas. Not only she is very creative and knowledgeable but she is very attentive and easy to contact. Also, she and her husband Thom went above and beyond their duties to ensure that our party went smoothly when things were not going as planned! This place was totally worth it!!! Our party was a suprise party for my dad and he had the best time ever! We had 70 people, buffet style dining and even fit a dance floor! We were all comfortable and enjoyed ourselves! This is truly a great venue and worth visiting! Also it is one party at a time and the rate is the same for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Therefore, if you like it, book it asap! We just lucked out!
